more than two months ago, independent journalist Aini Martin Valero was advised by friends from the United States to wait a postal package with office and some products grooming.
the community show up repeatedly in the post office in your area without being told the fate that had taken his package.
To the surprise of the community on June 1 receives a letter from the General Customs of the Republic, where he announced that he had been seized the package containing postal and "Articles that violate the general interests of the nation."
The letter signed by Alain Jorge Ramírez Customs Control Inspector, dated April 13 states that, at the end of 30 calendar days from the notification, Martin Valero could lodge an appeal. On
avilés for appeal has passed, since the letter to come 49 days after submitting the customs. The
ridiculous and disrespectful of this fact is that anyone who sent office supplies and toiletries, from the United States now appear to be items that undermine national sovereignty.
long dark hands of the Cuban state security are, this act of vandalism linked to the Cuban government.
As this reporter could read the package contained from pens and pencils, to balloons, toothpaste, bandages, sanitary pads and many other items useful for anyone.
If all these products are now a threat to the nation, I ask you gentlemen of the government that removed the hard-currency stores, as they may be the triggers for a world war.
maneuvers state security against independent journalists is becoming more sordid and dirty but nothing I do will stop the freedom to express the injustices committed by more than 50 years of dictatorship suffering Cuban people.
