ACUGRA MARKS WORLD ENERGY EFFICIENCY, THIS MARCH 5
Each March 5, marks the World Day of Energy Efficiency, which aims to reflect on our habits in front of the sustainable and rational use of energy for companies, institutions, governments and the general public, to review their commitments with respect to the use of renewable technologies.
The efficiency concept has to make good use of energy, developing clean renewable energy and transport use less aggressive to the environment, so that maximum is achieved mitigate the effects of global climate change. Energy efficiency means getting the same goods and energy services, but with fewer resources, without sacrificing the quality of life, less pollution, lower than the current price, extending the life of these resources.
Excessive use of energy, mainly derived from fossil fuels that threaten the economy, global stability and climate, which is why the World Day was born Energy Efficiency has its origins in the first international conference on Energy Efficiency held in Austria in 1998, where more than 350 experts and leaders from 50 countries discussed strategies to address the energy crisis and address possible solutions.
