Comitan, Chiapas .- The Director General of Public Security, Manuel Céspedes Hernández, said that this unit is ready to implement operating Holy Week begins this coming April 15.
He said complying with the operational plan will be developed at state level, the Public Security Directorate Comitan participate with each of the areas with the purpose of attending any emergency and protect all residents and visitors.
stressed that this operation has directed the Civil Protection personnel, municipal police, Solidarity, Tourist Police and the Road Agents , meet every one of its functions.
Municipal Police stressed that go beyond the sights of Comitan, will strengthen its surveillance throughout the city with the aim of prevent crimes of common law as robberies, assaults and disturbances to public order, in addition to accidents during this holiday season .
The police chief added that the Department of Public Safety work in coordination with other state and federal agencies in addition to these operational activities for this holiday season ending on May 2.
