NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR ADVOCACY CONSUMER (CONADECO)


MEET TODAY 18 JANUARY TO PLANNING ACTIVITIES IN THE YEAR 2011.

Composed MIFIC, DDC-MIFIC and consumer associations was reactivated on 07 DECEMBER OF 2010 TO PROTECT THE INTERESTS OF CONSUMERS NICARAGUA.


Regulation of the Law of Protection of Consumers.


Arto. 7. In accordance with Article 37 of the Act, believe the National Council for the Protection of Consumer Rights, based in the city of Managua, as an instance of a consultative nature of the DDC, whose main objective is the promotion and defense consumers throughout the country.

Arto. 8. The National Council for the Defense of Rights Consumers acting on behalf of consumers to the address of any other public or private institution, when it comes to defending the general interests of the same, when there are disasters that require emergency or to prevent speculation and hoarding of basic goods consumption. At the same time by resolution passed in accordance with their internal rules, the Board deems necessary.

Arto. 10. The functions and powers of the National Council for the Protection of Consumer Rights:
a. - Prepare proposals policies and work programs for the promotion of consumer rights and MIFIC submit it for consideration for approval and implementation.
b. - MIFIC arrangements with the municipal government and the immediate formation administrative structures in the municipalities, for the efficient implementation of the Act and this Regulation.

c. - Organize information and education campaigns related to the consumption of goods and services aimed at consumers.
d. - Provide support and advice to groups who wish to form new associations and private groups working on behalf of consumers.
e. - to endorse its own internal rules for its proper organization and operation.
f. - Increase the number of its members when he considers it necessary. This resolution will be adopted by qualified majority of two thirds of its members.
